📝 How to Import Products to Shopify
  1. Export your current products from Shopify: Go to Admin → Products → Export → Select "All products" → Export as CSV
  2. Open both CSV files: Open the Shopify export and our SEO export in Excel or Google Sheets
  3. Add SEO columns to your Shopify CSV:
    • Add a column called SEO Title (copy values from our meta_title column)
    • Add a column called SEO Description (copy values from our meta_description column)
    • Match rows using the Handle column (must be identical)
  4. Import back to Shopify: Go to Products → Import → Upload your updated CSV
  5. Check "Overwrite existing products with the same handle": This updates the SEO fields without creating duplicates

📦 Collections & Blog Posts

Shopify does not support native CSV import for collections or blog posts. Snezzi will provide automated scripts to update these via the Shopify API.

  • Products: Use CSV import (instructions above)
  • Collections: Automated API script (provided by Snezzi)
  • Blog Posts: Automated API script (provided by Snezzi)
⚠️ Important Warning

Do NOT sort the CSV file in Excel/Sheets before importing. Sorting can disassociate product variants and images, causing data loss that cannot be recovered.
